If the weather is not what you had hoped for, don't despair! The beauty of our landscape and seascape can be enjoyed whatever the weather!

Use the information in this section to discover "weather proof" options - things to do inside or under cover on a wet day!

With the clear advantage of having a roof, choose a local museum, visitor centre, historic building, art gallery or even an aquarium.

Another way to pass the time is to leisurely browse through the broad range of shops and shopping centres to be found in the Foyle and Carlingford areas. Then there are the traditional refuges of cinema, leisure centre, bowling alleys, cafes, restaurants and pubs!

If you have "bored" young children take them to some of the attractions listed that appeal to that age group or try one of the indoor play centres.
